Family HealthCare Network Earns Four National Newsweek “America’s Greatest Workplaces” Awards

National Recognition Highlights Excellence in Health Care, Leadership, Trust, and Career Development During Organization’s 50th Anniversary Year

VISALIA, Calif. – Family HealthCare Network (FHCN) is proud to announce it has been recognized by Newsweek with four prestigious national workplace honors, earning distinction as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in Health Care, America’s Greatest Workplaces for Leadership, America’s Greatest Workplaces for Trust, and America’s Greatest Workplaces for Entry-Level Employees.

The four awards recognize organizations that excel in creating exceptional workplace cultures, developing strong leaders, fostering employee trust, and providing meaningful career opportunities. Together, they affirm Family HealthCare Network’s commitment to investing in its workforce as the foundation for delivering high-quality, patient-centered health care.

“For over 50 years, Family HealthCare Network has believed that our greatest strength is our people,” said Kerry Hydash, President & CEO. “These national recognitions are especially meaningful because they reflect the culture our employees have built together – one rooted in purpose, compassion, collaboration, and a shared commitment to serving our communities. We are honored to be recognized by Newsweek, but even more proud of the extraordinary team that made this achievement possible.”

As one of California’s largest community health center systems, Family HealthCare Network serves more than 255,000 patients each year across Fresno, Kern, Kings, and Tulare counties through an integrated network of medical, dental, behavioral health, optometry, pharmacy, specialty, and community health services. Nearly 2,000 employees work together every day to fulfill the organization’s mission of providing quality health care for all.

Each Newsweek recognition highlights a different aspect of Family HealthCare Network’s workplace culture:

  • America’s Greatest Workplaces in Health Care recognizes organizations that provide an exceptional employee experience while advancing excellence in health care delivery.
  • America’s Greatest Workplaces for Leadership honors organizations that cultivate strong leaders, invest in professional development, and empower employees to succeed.
  • America’s Greatest Workplaces for Trust recognizes employers that foster integrity, transparency, accountability, and mutual respect throughout the organization.
  • America’s Greatest Workplaces for Entry-Level Employees celebrates organizations that provide meaningful career pathways, mentorship, and opportunities for employees beginning their professional journeys.

Together, these honors reflect a workplace where employees are supported through leadership development, continuing education, comprehensive benefits, retirement programs, employer profit sharing, wellness initiatives, recognition programs, and opportunities for advancement across the organization.

“Outstanding patient care begins with engaged employees,” said Hydash. “When our workforce feels supported, respected, and empowered, our patients experience the difference. These awards reinforce our belief that investing in our people strengthens the health of our communities.”

The recognition comes during Family HealthCare Network’s 50th anniversary, marking five decades of expanding access to quality health care throughout California’s Central Valley. While the organization has grown from a single community health center into one of the state’s largest Federally Qualified Health Center systems, its mission has remained unchanged: to provide quality health care for all.

“Receiving these four national recognitions during our 50th anniversary year is both a celebration of our past and an inspiration for our future,” said Hydash. “As health care continues to evolve, we remain committed to cultivating a workplace where employees can build meaningful careers, patients receive exceptional care, and communities continue to thrive.”

Family HealthCare Network continues to recruit talented professionals passionate about making a difference in community health care. Individuals interested in joining an award-winning organization are encouraged to visit www.fhcn.org/careers to explore current career opportunities.
