Perez served in multiple roles across Central California, including time as a Behavioral Health Coordinator at Tule River Indian Health Center and a Social Service Worker at Tulare County Health & Human Services. Perez chose to continue her education by enrolling at University of Massachusetts Global, where she earned her Master of Social Work degree. Following her graduation, Perez accepted positions with Aria Community Health Center as a Clinical Social Worker and with Tulare County Office of Education as a Mental Health Clinician.
